Welcome!
"The Little Church on the Bison Prairie"
Holy Nativity Church is five miles west of Kinnear, situated on the plateau near Pilot Butte Reservoir, surrounded by the Wind River Mountains and the Owl Creek Mountains. Our faithful congregation is much like the lay of the land - unassuming with their faith. Our church is attended mainly by local ranchers and farmers, and rural individuals who love the outdoor way of life, serving our God in all God’s splendor.
Our church represents what Wyoming is best known for: values of honesty and hard work, helping one’s neighbors, and being faithful servants. The members are committed to their love of our church, one another, and service to our nearby Kinnear, Morton, and Pavillion communities. While small in number today, we have a wide reach in terms of our outreaches. We want to extend our welcoming hand to all newcomers at the “Little White Church on the Prairie.” Additionally, the fellowship time after our worship service will provide you with a history lesson of the area from our oldest members. Plus, we are now surrounded on three sides by fields of bison.

Our History
Holy Nativity Church at Morton was founded around a 100 years ago by the Welsh Anglican priest Rev. John Roberts, who served on the Wind River Reservation. We were started in a cow pasture which was slated to become part of Morton city center. We are known as "The Little Church on the Bison Prairie.”
