Constitution & Canons

The Constitution, Canons, and Rules of Order pertain to the governance of The Episcopal Church. They have been adopted in the General Conventions from 1785 – 2018. Each Diocese within The Episcopal Church also has their own Constitution and Canons. These documents, The Episcopal Church Constitution and Canons and the Episcopal Diocese of Wyoming Constitution and Canons, create the overall governance and structure of the Episcopal Diocese of Wyoming. The Episcopal Diocese of Wyoming reviews their own Canons during our annual convention each year. Changes to the Constitution and Canons in Wyoming are done at the annual convention and voted on by convention.
