Reflection for Epiphanytide – 2023
In this season, we visit our Lord, the Christ. Following signs given to us by God, we reach the place where he waits. We hold out our hands, full of gifts; treasures we have brought for the occasion. He reaches back with his heart, a smile, a laugh. We are home.
A Prayer for Ash Wednesday – 2023
Almighty and everlasting God, you hate nothing you have made and forgive the sins of all who are penitent: Create and make in us new and contrite hearts, that we, worthily lamenting our sins and acknowledging our wretchedness, may obtain of you, the God of all mercy, perfect remission and forgiveness; through Jeus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. -BCP
