Welcome!
We are a vital and exciting church that has two worships services of Holy Communion each Sunday. Between services, we have an active adult education class, in which all people are encouraged and invited to share what they are experiencing and hearing from God. At the 10 am worship service, the children's Sunday School is in full swing, and the kids join the congregation to participate in Holy Communion.
St. Luke's has an active outreach program called the Bread of Life Pantry. Different churches throughout Buffalo contribute by staffing people to assist those looking for support and food. Volunteers also assist with stocking the shelves throughout the week. This is a powerful and meaningful way that St. Luke's participates in service to the Gospel by feeding the poor.
So, come and spend some time at St. Luke's on a Sunday. Come and enjoy some quiet time with God and other followers of Christ.

Our History
St. Luke's Episcopal Church was built in 1889, with services being held in the old Murray Hill Hotel for years prior, since before 1885. Many contributed towards the cost, with a large portion being gifted from the Vanderbilt family in New York that had relatives and friends in the area.
