Wayfarer Chapel’s attendees through the years have been rained on, snowed on, (most likely hailed on), fanned themselves because of the sun’s heat, fanned themselves because of forest fire smoke, been sunburned, been windburned and once been visited by a grizzly bear checking out the services.
Summer Sunday worship services are now lead mainly by worship leaders from Christ Episcopal Church, Cody, but local and visiting clergy have been known to serve. The first service of the season is of particular importance, with a picnic of food and fellowship following the service.

Our History
The first Wayfarer's Chapel was built by volunteers from Christ Church in Cody in 1964, on the North Fork. However, years later the chapel was relocated due to highway construction, this newer outdoor chapel was rededicated and consecrated August of 1996. The first service of the season is of special importance with a picnic of food and fellowship following the service.
