St. Christopher's

St Christopher’s mission statement is “To know Christ and to show Christ.” Our first worship service was held in August 1946. A warm and welcoming congregation, parishioners have developed numerous outreach ministries over the years, such as “God’s Cupboard,” providing food for families in need, needlecraft projects making blankets and stocking caps for infants, and many other community outreach projects over the years. There is an active “Daughters of the King” group that provides prayer interventions. Men’s Club meets every Wednesday during breakfast for fellowship at a local restaurant. In addition to these services, the church recognizes the need to bring awareness to Veteran suicides by displaying crosses on our fence for one month in the fall to bring community awareness of this urgent national problem.
