Universal Music Licenses

The Episcopal Church in Wyoming’s PERFORMmusic and WORSHIPcast licenses through Christian Copyright Solutions (CCS) cover approximately 30 million Christian and secular songs from the combined catalogs of Performing Rights Organizations (PRO) of ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC, which includes repertoire from tens of thousands of Music Publishers. This includes all genres of music, from Traditional and Contemporary Christian and Gospel to Rock, Country, Holiday, Choral, Patriotic, Pop, Children’s, and much more.

To view the songs covered, simply visit each PRO’s repertory page and search their catalogs. ASCAP, BMI and SESAC each have their own search engine where you can search by publisher, song title, composer/writer or performing artist. GRANT OF LICENSE. Episcopal Church in Wyoming is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to publicly play and perform in any of the Licensee’s facilities within the United States any musical composition controlled by one or more of the domestic Performing Rights Organizations (ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC), as stated in the CCS PERFORMmusic License Terms and Conditions.

The PERFORMmusic License provides coverage for your performance of music and playing of recorded music throughout your facilities and ministry. No reporting is required for a wide range of activities including: worship services, wedding receptions, on-hold music, community events, youth group gatherings, festivals, retreats, aerobics and classes, and non-ticketed concerts. Charging admission to events however is not allowed.

Episcopal Church in Wyoming is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to publicly play, perform, and transmit/stream any musical composition controlled by one or more of the domestic Performing Rights Organizations (ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC), as stated in the CCS WORSHIPcast License Terms and Conditions. Now it’s easy and simple to share and legally stream your music performances on your website with CCS’s WORSHIPcast Streaming License.

U.S. Copyright Law requires that websites have digital performance licensing in order to legally stream internet song performances of copyrighted music.

NOTE: While this license covers livestream, it does not cover commercial pre-recorded music. WORSHIPcast does not cover streaming rights for any pre-recorded music, including sound recordings, artist recordings, accompaniment tracks, multi-tracks, or stems. Additional rights must be secured from the sound recording copyright owner in order to legally stream.
